On the 15th of September 2016, a conference focusing on digital development will take place in Johannesburg : French Tech Supporting Digital Skills Initiatives in Africa. This event is organised by the French Tech initiative in collaboration with Orange Business Services. The goal of this conference is to allow skills in digital developments emerge in Africa.

Atnetplanet, digital communication and strategy agency, launched their Johannesburg office in May 2016 and quickly became an official sponsor of the conference. The online communication agency will also set up a stand at the event to present its expertise and professional accomplishments for clients. The entire team will be in this stand to express their digital vision and work values.

The conference will focus on a couple of big themes like the French Tech’s role in South Africa, the development and further strengthening of digital skills in Africa and the digital education of local youth . It will further on bring together some big digital development actors in Africa, as the ambassador for France in South Africa, Elisabeth BARBIER. Not only the ambassador for France, there will be also some speakers :

Atnetplanet SA shows an innovative approach which contributes to it becoming a real “tech nugget”. It is currently led by three South African partners and is getting involved actively in the development and support of the local team. Students were sponsored for the school “WeThinkCode”. This exchange community of “tech nuggets” gets together around common values inherent to the French tech startups.
